AS/NZS 1337.6:2012 Personal eye protection – Part 6: Prescription eye protectors against low and medium impact

Specifies minimum requirements for eye protectors fitted with prescription lenses intended to provide low or medium impact eye protection from flying particles and fragments in occupational situations. It does not apply to eye protectors in which the prescription lenses are fitted behind plano protective lenses.

AS/NZS 1338.1:2012 Filters for eye protectors – Part 1: Filters for protection against radiation generated in welding and allied operations

Specifies requirements for filters used in eye protectors intended to provide protection against radiation of high intensity emitted during welding and allied operations. It specifies the shade numbers and the transmittance requirements of the filters and applies to filters made of glass or other materials for absorption of radiation.

AS/NZS 1338.2:2012 Filters for eye protectors – Part 2: Filters for protection against ultraviolet radiation

Specifies requirements for filters used in eye protection against ultraviolet radiation. It provides a system of designating code numbers and shade numbers for filters and specifies the transmittance requirements for such filters.

Supersedes AS/NZS 1338.2:1992

AS/NZS 1338.3:2012 Filters for eye protectors – Part 3: Filters for protection against infra-red radiation

Specifies requirements for filters used in eye protection against infra-red radiation. It provides a system of designating code numbers and shade numbers and specifies the transmittance requirements for such filters. Guidance on the selection of filters is given in Appendix A.
