Can I pay for Standards online? How do I do this?

When you have found the Standards you wish to purchase, added them to your shopping cart, and completed your details, you will be taken to a payment page. We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard, Diners, and American Express credit cards.

To pay by bank deposit choose to 'pay by post'. Your order will be held as a quote and you will be assigned a customer number and reference number.

Please ensure that you quote your customer number and reference number when you make payment.

If your organisation is a Standards New Zealand member you can purchase online and pay when you receive our invoice. Non-members should see our website for more information about becoming a member.

Can I make a direct credit payment? Where can I get the bank account details to do this?

Can I get a copy of my invoice?

Can I get an invoice online?

Unfortunately this is not possible at this stage. Please contact our Customer Services team on 0800 782 632 during business hours for assistance.

I want to change my payment details. How can I do this?

I don't understand this invoice you've sent me. Can you help me with it?

If I pay for a purchase by cheque, what reference numbers should I include to ensure you can match it up with my order?

You can purchase a Standard online and send a cheque to pay for it. When using our webshop please select the 'pay by post' option. Then, when sending the cheque to Standards New Zealand include a copy of the quote; or the customer number and order reference number that appear on the order confirmation page.

Is GST charged on Standards purchased by overseas customers?

It is a legal requirement in New Zealand to charge GST (Goods and services tax) on goods and services supplied in New Zealand. We do not charge GST on the sale of hard copy Standards shipped direct to an overseas address. However, we do charge GST on PDF sales as we cannot determine whether an email address is offshore.

If you are an overseas customer and wish to request a credit for GST, please email enquiries@standards.co.nz. Note that we will require evidence of your location to approve a GST credit.
